These terms cover your use of the Ribbonwash website, editor and Pro license, operated by [legal name], [country] ("we", "us"). By using Ribbonwash you agree to them.
1. The service
Ribbonwash is a browser-based editor for animated gradient backgrounds. The free version is available to everyone. Ribbonwash Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks extra export options.
2. Purchases
Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and Merchant of Record, which handles payment, invoices and sales tax. Pro is a one-time payment; there is no subscription and nothing renews.
3. Your Pro license
- One license is for one person. You can activate it on up to 3 of your own devices at a time, and deactivate a device to move it.
- Don't share, resell or publish your license key. We may deactivate keys that are shared publicly.
- Pro includes updates to the editor for as long as we offer them; we can't promise any specific future features.
4. What you can do with your exports
- Everything you create is yours. You may use exported images, videos and code in unlimited personal and commercial projects, including client work.
- Code exported with Pro has no license check and keeps working even if Ribbonwash shuts down.
- You may not use exports to build a competing gradient editor or to redistribute the Pro editor itself.
- The open-source runtime on npm (
ribbonwash) is covered by its own MIT license.
5. Acceptable use
Don't attack, overload, or try to bypass the licensing of the service.

7. Disclaimer
Ribbonwash is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or work on every device or browser.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us.

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
